Snail Pizza
Ingredients:
A homemade pizza dough (See pizza dough)
1 box of snails
Mozzarella cheese to taste
1 or 2 fresh tomatoes
Garlic to taste
Black olives to taste
Provence herbs to taste
Olive oil to taste
Preparation:
- Remove the thin slices of tomatoes.
- Rinse the snails and reserve them.
- Add garlic to taste in olive oil and reserve a small amount.
- Lower the dough very thin.
- Brush the dough with the garlic oil.
- Heat the snails in the reserved garlic oil.
- Place the tomatoes.
- Sprinkle with herbs from Provence.
- Add the snails, mozzarella and black olives.
- Bake at 350 F. (180 C) until lightly toasted or in the Claude Savoie wood-fired oven in an open oven.
